How to use optical fiber recoater
How to use the optical fiber recoater?
First, place the optical fiber to be coated
in the position shown in the figure below, and align the center of the coated
optical fiber with the injection port so that the machine can coat evenly on
the left and right.
Before the coating operation, you need to
inject a small amount of UV curing material into the glass mold of the optical
fiber recoater, and confirm that there are no bubbles in the UV curing
material. Open the mold cover, press the Purge key, and run the pump. Inject
the UV curing material from the bottle into the glass mold. After the injection
amount is as shown in the figure, press the Purge key again to stop the
injection.
Close the mold cover, open the upper lamp
cover, and press the Start key to inject the resin. From the window shown in
the figure, you can observe the UV curing material reaching the target point of
the optical fiber. Press the Purge key to pause the coating if the UV curing
material has reached the target point and the machine has not stopped. If the
UV curing material has not reached the target point, press the Add key to
increase the injection amount. After reaching the target point, press the Add
key again to stop the injection.
Note: 1. When injecting UV curing glue, be
sure to open the upper lamp cover. Since the injection time is controlled by
the parameter setting time, it is impossible to completely and accurately cover
the target optical fiber. 2. If the entire glass mold is opened after the UV
curing material is injected, the material will leak out of the groove, so it
needs to be re-coated.
When the coating operation is completed,
close the upper lamp cover and press the Start button to turn on the UV curing
lamp. The optical fiber can be removed only after the buzzer prompts.
Note: When the UV lamp is working, be sure
not to open the glass mold and the upper lamp cover. Otherwise, it will affect
the curing effect.
After the optical fiber is taken out,
immediately wipe the upper and lower glass molds of the optical fiber recoater
with dust-free cotton or dust-free cloth containing alcohol. If the UV curing
material remaining on the glass mold is not removed, the curing material will
stick to the upper and lower glass molds and damage the surface finish of the
glass mold. When re-coating, irregular coating will be formed. The specific
cleaning operation is shown in the figure below.
Note: Place a dust-free cloth or soft
tissue between the upper and lower glass molds when storing or not using the
machine.

coating programs to choose from, automatic cleaning function, and convenient
resin replacement and addition.
