MPO Fiber in the AI Era: Why It Matters
MPO is a multi-fiber connector that bundles many fibers into a single plug—commonly 12, 16, or 24 fibers.
Compared with traditional LC connectors, MPO offers:

3.Better support for high-speed optical modules
Modern AI servers and GPU clusters require massive bandwidth. MPO is the standard interface for parallel-optics modules such as 400G DR4/SR4 and 800G OSFP.
