How to choose different models of large core fiber splicers
Many customers ask about the differences between our three models: S-37, S-37+, and S-27. For the maintenance needs of fiber lasers with different powers, the selection of large core splicers should focus on the fiber diameter range, splicing accuracy, heat source control capability, and environmental adaptability. The following are specific recommendations, classified by power range and application scenarios:
1. High-power fiber laser (>1 kW) maintenance
This type of laser uses ultra-large core fiber (>500 μm), and splicing needs to avoid thermal damage and stress points, which requires extremely high accuracy and stability.
Preferred model: Shinho S-37+ large diameter model fiber fusion splicer
Core advantages:
Supports 128-680 μm ultra-large core diameter fiber, covering passive fiber and gain fiber;
With tempering function, uniform heating prevents brittle fracture of the fusion point, suitable for energy transmission points of high-power lasers;
